You don't have to face this alone
Falls aren't just "bad luck." When a business or property owner fails to keep their premises safe, they can be responsible for your injuries. We help you show there was negligence.
From day one we protect your case so you can focus on what matters most: getting better.
What we do for you
- We document the dangerous condition before it gets fixed.
- We obtain incident reports and security video.
- We show the owner knew — or should have known — about the hazard.
- We pursue coverage for your medical bills and missed work.
Cases we handle
- Wet floors with no warning sign
- Broken stairs or handrails
- Poor lighting and uneven flooring
- Neglected sidewalks and parking lots
- Spills left uncleaned in stores
Falling isn't enough — you have to show the negligence
This is the part that surprises people. Getting hurt in a store doesn't by itself make the business responsible. What's usually argued is whether the place knew — or should have known — about the hazard and did nothing:
- How long the spill or defect had been there.
- Whether there was a warning sign, and whether you could see it from where you were walking.
- How often the business checks and inspects its aisles.
- Whether something similar had already happened in the same spot.
- Whether the staff themselves caused the hazard.
This evidence gets mopped up in minutes
Unlike a crash, this scene disappears almost immediately: someone mops, a cone goes up, and it's gone. What you do that same day is worth more than everything you do later.
- Photograph the floor, the shoes you were wearing and the whole area before it's cleaned.
- Report the fall to a manager and ask for a copy of the incident report.
- Ask whether there are cameras and which way they point.
- Get the name and phone number of whoever helped you or saw you fall.
- Keep your receipt or any proof you were there, and at what time.
Common mistakes after a fall
- Going home without reporting anything, out of embarrassment or hurry.
- Telling the manager "it was nothing, I'm clumsy."
- Waiting for the pain to pass before seeing a doctor.
- Assuming the cameras will keep the video on their own.
- Throwing away the shoes you had on — sometimes they're part of the argument.
